Abstract
Permasalahan limbah plastik menjadi isu lingkungan yang mendesak, termasuk di Desa Genggelang, Kecamatan Gangga, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Meningkatnya konsumsi plastik berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan dan penurunan kualitas sumber daya alam. Salah satu solusi inovatif dalam pengelolaan limbah plastik adalah penerapan metode Ecobrick, yaitu teknik pemadatan limbah plastik nonbiologis ke dalam botol plastik untuk dijadikan bahan bangunan alternatif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah plastik dan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan Ecobrick. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi studi pendahuluan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, dan pendampingan masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi warga, dengan 15 peserta aktif menghasilkan 20 Ecobrick yang kemudian dimanfaatkan menjadi furnitur ramah lingkungan. Program ini berdampak pada meningkatnya kesadaran ekologis masyarakat dan memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi melalui pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan.

Plastic waste has become an urgent environmental issue, including in Genggelang Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency. The increasing consumption of plastic has led to environmental pollution and decreased natural resource quality. One innovative solution for managing plastic waste is the Ecobrick method, which involves compacting non-biodegradable plastics into bottles to create alternative building materials. This community service activity aimed to raise public awareness of plastic waste management and provide Ecobrick-making training. The implementation methods included preliminary studies, socialization, technical training, and community mentoring. The results showed increased participation among 15 participants who produced 20 Ecobricks, later used to create eco-friendly furniture. This program enhanced community ecological awareness and provided economic value through sustainable waste management.
